Physical activity probably provides me with the greatest satisfaction that my existence has to offer. Whether it's walking on the beach with a loved one, or doing pull-ups until my arms fall-off, as long as I have the chance to appreciate the abilities my body affords me then I can't really complain.
Most of my life thus far has been exercise centered. I have a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Science. I have worked at many different fitness and rehabilitative/therapeutic exercise facilities. I currently work as an assistant at a physical therapy clinic. And much like many of you, I have spent countless hours in the gym, at the parks, on the fields and in just about any other active setting possible. I believe in the power of exercise as the cure to all that ails us and have pretty much dedicated myself to helping the world rid itself of its chronic pains.
Most people don’t understand that when working out, there are core sets of physiologic and mechanical principles that must be adhered to so that maximum results may be achieved. That’s where the benefits of a personal trainer come into play. Each workout, you will learn something new. I GUARANTEE IT. Your body will be pushed to do things you didn’t know it could do, and you will love every second of it.
My training techniques are such that your body receives an amount of stress stimulus which leads to advancing your current level of fitness and molds your body into the shape that you desire. This is done by many ways: varying repetitions and/or time under tension during each set; using standard exercise machines, weights and common exercises; dynamic movements; experimenting with medicine balls, resistance bands, stability balls; setting a workout pace that elevates our heart rate to incorporate an aerobic aspect to a typically anaerobic routine; etc. Each workout incorporates most of the major muscle groups and also stimulates the cardiovascular system.
My routines are unique. My style is fast-paced. My mission is to motivate you to do things that you didn’t think that your body could do. Try for yourself…
Aside from that there's not much else to me. I have a dog named Max. I live in the greatest city in the world which also has the most depressing weather in the world. I'm polite. Sometimes it's held against me.
If you are interested in getting started with any form of physical activity regimen, please feel free to contact me. It doesn't even need to be about personal training. If you have a question, just ask!
